CircleBlack’s data aggregation engine converts raw custodian and held-away data into a single, consistent data model through a governed, custodian-agnostic pipeline. It uses formal schema validation, deterministic ID generation, and recoverable exception handling to ensure every record is accurate, complete, and auditable. Each data feed—covering accounts, positions, transactions, and tax lots—is validated, enriched, and version-controlled for consistency across custodians. The result is a unified, cross-custodian data layer that delivers accurate, complete, and explainable data for every advisor workflow.

Customer Relationship Management

CircleBlack CRM combines the scalability and proven power of Salesforce’s enterprise-grade platform, the advisor-focused workflows of a purpose-built wealth management CRM, and the deep portfolio integration and real-time context of a native solution. The result is a complete 360° client view that unifies account details, calendar, meetings, emails, portfolio performance, planning milestones, documents, and communication history within a single interface.

Performance Calculation

CircleBlack’s performance calculation engine delivers multi-level performance insights, enabling advisors to analyze returns by position, asset class, account, household, or any custom-defined grouping, shown net or gross of fees. Advisors can isolate top and bottom contributors and toggle between time-weighted and money-weighted returns. Layer on top a Performance X-Ray that reveals the daily values, cash flows, and fees behind every return, and the result is a foundation of explainability that makes every performance review simple.

Portfolio Reporting

CircleBlack Portfolio Reporting is an automated report builder that lets advisors create and share client-ready reports in minutes—whether using pre-built templates or designing fully customized layouts. Everything is built within a workflow made specifically for advisors, not graphic designers. What advisors design is exactly what clients receive, bringing all reporting needs together in one place—without extra costs or complex integrations.

Document Management

CircleBlack Document Management provides a secure and compliant platform for advisors and clients to store, exchange, and manage documents, including bulk uploads of standard file types, images, and multimedia content such as podcasts or YouTube videos.

Trading & Rebalancing

CircleBlack’s Trading & Rebalancing application delivers rebalancing, trading, and order management through an embedded integration with Intelliflo Redblack. It supports multi-custodial portfolio management, bulk editing, household-level monitoring, and multi-tier model management within the CircleBlack interface.

Client Billing

The CircleBlack Client Billing application simplifies billing management with an embedded integration to BillFin. It automates AUM fee calculations, exclusions, and overrides, and supports flat, tiered, and banded fee structures at the household, account, or firm level. Firms can set billing frequencies, handle prorated fees and terminations automatically, all while generating professional invoices with built-in fee-splitting and reconciliation.

Practice Management

The CircleBlack Practice Management application brings firm oversight and advisor operations together in one unified environment. We’ll schedule your first onboarding call a few days after you sign the agreement. After, system access varies by custodian but typically takes a few weeks. However, we can add ‘dummy data’ into the platform to get you started faster.
